Our new sister Jane

Hallie shot this video.  I edited it a little bit.  Hallie had a hard time keeping still and not jumping up and down.  She was so excited.

They tried to add warm and hot water, but the apartment is not heated.  Poor Jane was really cold.

Afterwards, the family members that were there, wrote Jane cards of encouragement and advice.  Hallie wrote that someday soon they would be sisters.  Jane's advice to Hallie was to get baptized in the summer!

We met Jane last school year shortly before we went home for the summer.  She came to Sunday meeting a few times and she also came to a sudy or two before we went to the US.  While we were gone, she plugged in with the downtown group and studied with some of them.  This year she has been a main part of the Tuesday night study that Jon helps with.  She is also Shelly's roommate.

We are very happy with Jane's decision to be baptized.  However we are sad to learn that she will take a job in in another city and will soon move.  She says that she will come to HZ about once a month or so.  We are glad that we will still be able to see her.  Shelly has already hooked her up with some family in the new city.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she starts her new job in the new city, and her new walk.
