On October 14th, we took two students to a nearby ancient village called AnChang.
We looked around at the canals, bridges, boats, stumbled into the local
temple, and ironically, that is where the real conversation started to happen. As we entered the temple, we saw where prayers are said
in front of the incense vessel, and the students asked us about
Christian prayer and how and when it takes place. Jason spent some time
explaining to them. Each little place all around the temple gave us
another chance to explain key differences and highlight why we believe
what we believe.
We are thankful for each chance He gives us to
bear witness to the truth of His freedom and His love, and thankful to
serve a God to whom we can pray at any time, in any place.
