Leaving Hangzhou

Our last couple of weeks in Hangzhou were a flurry of activity as we spent time with friends we have made, packed for the summer in the USA, and completed our move to Shao Xing. We especially spent lots of quality time with Rain, Cecelia, Abraham, and some students that Jason taught this year, and our housekeeper, Li Ayi. We also had a chance to see Oliver and Olivia, because we invited them to come over to our place and gave them some children's books for their son, jun jun. Some of those books are about Jesus, and our hope and prayer is that they will all learn as they share the books with him. Moving day went alright, we were even able to unpack the things that we felt would be most subject to humidity over the summer. A friend of the Davises, and likewise a friend of ours, a lady we call Qian Qian mama, was extremely gracious to offer to help us move by loaning a van and driver for the day to take Jason and I to Shao Xing, as we couldn't ride in the moving van. We became a bit wistful during the last couple of days in Hangzhou, because we have loved it, but we pray for His will to be done, as He reveals His plan for us and the work in the city of Shao Xing.
