Commitment

Helen is a former student of ours. She is a great girl, fun to be with, not without her quirks, but honest and hopeful and energetic. She is a funny girl who has had a couple of high drama (innocent) Internet romances, and when we suggested she read the Bible, she started with Song of Songs! We suggested she follow that up with the gospel of John, to which she gladly obliged. Recently, she has been falling in love more and more, I am glad to say, with God, with prayer, with the person of Jesus, and with the Bible, and we have been explaining to her the benefits of making a commitment to Him. She is studying some key scriptures and thinking over the decision to be a Christian, please pray that He will prepare her heart, that He will fill up her life with love for Him, and teach her the true meaning of love, of fulfillment, and of commitment.
