Phoebe's First Birthday

Phoebe enjoyed a terrific birthday at one of her favorite places, the illustrious Liu Xia community KFC. The whole team attended, as well as our dear friend Joanna, and Jason's former students, Helen and Sarah. We had a cute strawberry cake with Phoebe's name on it in English and Chinese. We sang to her, the kids played, it was a memorable time. We were especially glad for this excuse to reconnect with Helen and Sarah, because Helen came way out of her way to attend this party, and she told us that she has continued reading the Bible some over this past year, and that she has sought out and attended church some on her own. We were delighted to hear that she has maintained this interest in spiritual things. Also, another blessing was that Sarah turned out to be living and working over in Bin Jiang where Joanna lives, so Joanna invited Sarah to her Wednesday night Bible study, which Sarah said she would think about. Please pray for these girls, that God will pursue them, and that they will be receptive to Him.
