Caleb Birthday

Caleb turned 2 years old last Sunday February 8. My sister and my parents came for his birthday. A friend bought Caleb a birthday cake with a big lotus flower candle. Supposedly you light up the candle, it burns to the bottom of the wick, then the lotus flower opens up playing the Happy Birthday song. However, the huge flame started melting the lotus flower. Melted plastic dripped on the cake. Caleb yelled “fire”. It was the biggest candle and the strongest fire I have ever seen on a birthday cake. The lotus flower finally opened with several pedals still flaming and dripping plastic and played the Happy Birthday song again and again. Finally we had to take the candle outside of the house because Happy Birthday was driving us crazy. We had a great time though.
