Meet Moonbeam!

Well, it has finally come to pass; we are, as they say, with cat.

Because it is Mid-Autumn (i.e., Moon-) Festival, we decided we should select a moon-related name for this silvery feline. Thus, his name shall be 月光 (YuèGuāng), meaning "moonlight" or "moonbeam". We like to call him "Guang-guang" for short.

We found him at one of the very nice cat shops we'd mentioned, but we didn't end up paying as much as we had expected. In fact, we were able to get him for less than half-price.

As you can see, he's still a little shy around the house. But he's very loving if you can keep him in one place! We'll say more later, I'm sure, but right now I gotta go -- the keyboard tapping makes him nervous.
