Encouragement At Home

We returned to America in July feeling fairly worn out by China. We were wondering, “Should we stay in China for just one more year? Can we really make it two more years?”

The encouragement we received in Tennessee and Missouri was fantastic. “Praise God for the work He is doing through your family in China,” people would say. “We love reading your reports, I read every word of it. Keep up the good work as long as you can. We are praying for you. I pray for your family each week, Tuesday is your day.”

II Kings 6:16-17 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Back in China we really see God’s blessings encouraging us. Caleb loves his new elementary school.

With so many people in China there is always a new friend. Joy and this little girl were best of friends at first sight. Maybe because they both like pink.

  1. So thankful that Caleb loves his new school, & hope Joy loves Kids Castle too. After reading your report we pray Josh sees Superman soon, & that the house worships work well!
