I reported earlier that Shane had set the date for his baptism. Finally the day arrived! Everyone was so excited! Shane was pretty nervous.
It was a wonderful Sunday. It was very emotional
In lieu of a regular Bible study, everyone shared a thought, or scripture, or just words of encouragement for Shane. There were smiles and tears. Then after the inflatable bath tub was filled with warm water, Jon and Josh baptized Shane. Everyone cheered! It was fantastic! There were many pictures taken. Then we sang a song or two and then shared the Lord’s supper with our new brother Shane. What an amazing day.

It happened in the Lord's own timing! So glad that Shane made this commitment. And that God pursued Him with so much care and perseverance. Praise God.
